No matter where you are, look up. The sky never fails to be beautiful, even when it's overcast. Find shadows amongst the clouds, the piercing of tree branches into the blue, the elegant fade of the horizon. Everything is beautiful, simply because it is.

Number 6
At this particular moment in time, I have decided to write about beauty. It's a complicated thing, but also astounding. If you look closely at anything, it's beautiful, simply because it is. Even the most insignificant things, a rock, for instance, are beautiful. Take any pebble you might see, on the beach or in the desert or in a parking lot. Where has it been? No one knows. What has it done in its lifetime? It's seen rain and fire and the sunrises of days we cannot fathom. Time holds no bounds over such a thing, and as you hold a rock, you hold also your elder. If you find no immediate beauty in your selected object, look closer. Get down on its level and really look at it. What does it do on a daily basis? A rock, why a rock is a witness! Who knows what it has seen?

Love this one, Rosie. It reminds me of, you either see nothing astounding or everything a miracle.(not a direct quote, but same gist.)
