Rain streaked windows
Can't you find me
A better place to waste away
The rest of my life?
What's left of my life?
If you can't follow my
Train of thought
Better buy a ticket
And climb right on
Does it matter where we're going?
We'll know it
When we see it.
On a day like this one,
Anywhere could be
Better than here
But I'm still homesick
I miss the tears
On my windowpane
The quiet rain
That washed away

Number 1!
My subject: Moths.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I like moths. Yes, moths. We're like moths, people are. We're just chronically lost, insignificantly beautiful things, clustered around the porch light of life, which really isn't all it's cracked up to be.
We're diligent in our stupidity, which just cements how lost we are. But if you look close, We're beautiful.

Quote:
Being lost is just the scenic route to anywhere else.

Poem:
Wallpaper sameness
Moth wings at dusk
Dusty dreams
In forgotten places
